The pioneering consortium will once again be exhibiting their unique business product to the European meetings, incentive and associations market as 4 of the UK’s most celebrated heritage business destinations - Bath, Chester, Oxford and Stratford-upon- Avon.
EIBTM is the leading global event for the meetings and incentive industry, held annually in Barcelona. The event delivers three days of business networking opportunities for exhibitors, Hosted Buyers and trade visitors.
England’s Heritage Cities will be returning to EIBTM in partnership with VisitBritain – the UK’s national tourism agency – and will be adopting the stand theme for 2009 of ‘Innovation, science and discovery’, which celebrates Britain’s reputation as world leader in events as well as its diverse cultural heritage.
Sarah Britten, European Sales Researcher for EHC who will be representing EHC at EIBTM explains; “The VisitBritain stand theme of ‘Innovation, science and discovery perfectly suits the EHC message. Our 4 cities offer the unique heritage for which England is so well revered, and each provides a distinct piece of our country’s history. Chester is home to the most complete set of Roman city walls in the UK, Bath is famed for its Roman remains; home to one of the finest thermal spas of the ancient world, a magnificent temple and bathing complex that still flows with mineral-rich thermal water. Oxford and its famous university has educated 25 British Prime Ministers including Sir Robert Peel, Herbert H Asquith, Clement Attlee, Clement Attlee, Margaret Thatcher and Tony Blair. and Stratford-upon-Avon is the Birthplace of William Shakespeare, one of the World’s most renowned literary figures.
EIBTM provides the perfect platform for us to meet with our target market on a one to one basis and introduce them to the endless possibilities of an event held in an English Heritage City”.
EHC will be stand partnering with VisitBritain on stand G120 at the Fira Gran Via, Barcelona from 1-3 December 2009.
